This time I am going to challenge the ones who decided to change their diet from one day to another by adopting a raw vegan diet.
Before I go any further, I would like to ask you:
1. Did you consult a nutritionist or any doctor before adhering to this myth?
2. If you decided to go on your own on this, regardless of your reasons, then my question to you is how much accurate information did you gather before getting yourself into it?
3. Have you considered for a second that this diet might not be right or best for you, even if your favorite celebrity has recently adopted it, claiming (with no real evidence) that it is the best way to prevent or reverse diseases and to stay young and vital? Read the rest of this entry »
A foreign language is maybe necessary or, at least, very useful. If you are a native English speaker, you are a lucky person. About 30% of the world population speaks English, it’s the second most spoken language after Mandarin and before Spanish.
If not, you almost surely have to learn a second or even a third language in order to have good prospects at your job or most everywhere else. Now, which language you are going to learn is entirely your choice, given the circumstances you are living in. But how to prepare for it, is quite similar independent of the language you are going to learn. Read the rest of this entry »
Our body speaks for us. In fact only about 7% of our communication is based on words, about 38% on our tone and voice and the rest of 55% is gestures, glances, touches.
A prolonged eye contact increases the rhythm of our heartbeat. This can cause that “butterfly in the stomach” kind of feeling, like being in love. It is true what we’ve red in old stories, when the prince takes a deep look in the eyes of the princess, they really fall in love. Love at first sight is not a myth. Or, at least falling in love at (first) sight.
In a normal conversation the eye contact should consist of long looks, not of intense staring. It is usual to watch your dialog partner in the eyes, but not the whole time. You should disconnect the eye contact, if you have to watch their gestures or if you are upset or you have to think about something else. Read the rest of this entry »

I haven’t even gone into any details about myself, but I am afraid I can’t hide any longer (just kidding).
Well, I am proud of being one of Dracula’s daughters, even though some people prefer to call me “citizen of the world”, who has been travelling quite a lot in the last couple of years across the world, and who is still “on the go” until I will find my serenity in one spot. “Our language has wisely sensed the two sides of being alone. It has created the word loneliness to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word solitude to express the glory of being alone.” Paul Tillich
There are some animals which live alone, some which are living temporarily in a “relationship” in order to procreate and some which live in a community. Sometimes, people tend to think that living alone is the most primitive way of living and that social life (aka relationship) is far better. This is far from being right. According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, named the top Ultimate Wellness Game Changer by an American Post (if you’re interested, you can find more about his work on www.mercola.com) fruits can be a healthy part of your diet as they’re generally rich in vitamins and antioxidants, but fruits can also be an extra source of sugar, particularly fructose, that you may be better off without. The well known Viennese psychiatrist and psychologist Alfred Adler (1870-1937), founder of the Individual psychology, was one of the first theorists who suggested that birth order influences personality.
He divided siblings in 4 categories:
1. Only children, who may have characteristics of either the first born or the youngest child. Read the rest of this entry »
